Hockerbank

This is the Hockerbank Seating and it is made by Berlin designer Johanna Dehio. Hockerbank means stool or bench, and that is exactly what it is. This furniture consists of several stools witch is supplemented by planks with cut-out holes, so that the stools can be transformed into a bench. Also, the round tables can be transformed into a hight table.

I think this idea is very original and creative, and I think the result is great to look at. I can see this in a scandinavian home surrounded by light colors and nordic designs. I like that the different stools have different surfaces, so it creates a fun combination instead of a monotone palette. I also like the idea of multipurpose, and I think the designer has succeeded with that.

Twist Coat Rack

This is the Twist Coat Rack, and it is designed by Robert Bronwasser for SMOOL Design Studio. It is made out of whole American ash tree, and resembles just that - a tree with twigs. It can be assembled in two different ways: With a disc on top for a hat rack or below to create a more stable base. Ruché Bed

This is the Ruché Bed and it is designed by Inga Sempe for Ligne Roset. As you can see, this bed has a quilted cover beneath the mattress and on the headboard, and you can chose from different colors on your quilted fabrics. 

I think these beds are so cool and different, and the quilted details makes the bed stand out as well as extremely comfortable! And the fact that you can chose from a range of different colors makes it easier to place and match in your bedroom. I like the color combinations of light blue and white wood and the light grey with the hard red.

Pronkkast Wardrobe

This amazing piece of furnishing is the Pronkkast Wardrobe and it is designed for Dik & Stijlloos by Mathilde Alders. This wardrobe is special because of the exhibitionistic twist, and its special storage and hanging systems. It allows you to enjoy your favorite clothes even when your'e not wearing them, and having them on display.

The shelves and hanging rails can be slid out from both sides to enable beautiful clothes to be seen, and all girls like to treat their favorite dress or top to be treated with the respect it deserves... Just kidding (sort of...). I like that theres a lot of hanging and storage, and the special features makes this a whole lot more unique and fun than a regular wardrobe.

Also the material and classic look of the wardrobe appeals to me, and will easily slide in with any other interior and home. This seems like a wardrobe that you can keep for a long, long time! I love this a lot, and I would like to have it at home. I love to have my clothes on display, and it is so cleaver with the opportunity to hang your bags and put away your shoes.

Inspiration from Rice

I found these beautiful styling photos done by Rice for their inspirational shoot for spring 2011. I like Rice a lot, and as you can see they have a lot of decor and furnishing that is colorful and a little bit on retro side. 

These photos really give me a spring feeling, and I like the pieces and decorations that they have chosen for these stylings. I like the bright colors on the candleholders that they show in the picture above, the lanterns and lampshades, as well as the colorful and printed pillows in the green chair. Absolutely an inspiration for the outdoor area, and also the insides when springtime comes!

Roberts Radio

I love this retro Roberts Radio with flower print! Its made in the exact same way as the old one from the 50's, only with the newest technology and upgraded sound. You can get them in all sorts of colors, but this one really stood out for me. I've looked up different places they sell these radios, and the price varies from 3200-4000kr, but I think it's totally worth it. It's a beautiful, classic and never-out-of-style piece, so this would only be an investment.
