Modern and Antique equals Modernique.

These are the Modernique chairs and they are designed by Cho Hyung Suk, who belives that furniture can be divided into two major styles; modern and antique. He wanted to create a chair that featured elements belonging to both of those currents, and created the Modernique chair. The designer says that these chairs have slender appearances and beautiful curves which emphasizes on their dynamic look. 

What I like about the Modernique chair is that it represents the thing that the designer wants it to, the uniting of two strong and different styles. It is elegant and classic but at the same time modern and minimalistic. I like the material combination of walnut and ash, and the chair's beautiful curves and lines. As you can see, you can get the chair in both dark and light, and I think that both of them are equally beautiful.
