Hillside

This storage piece is the Hillside Modular Shelving System and it was designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune for the company Arflex. This shelving system is built up by individual cabinets that are placed together to form one unique  storage unit. The different hight and shapes of the cabinets remind of hills and valleys when placed together, and therefor it is called the Hillside.  

What is great about this design is that you can pick and choose so that you get the exact appearance you'd like your Hillside to have. It comes in blue, yellow, black or red and you can place it on the wall or mount it on the floor. The irregular shapes and sizes make the Hillside an instant eye-catcher, and the colorful shelves would brighten up any room. I really like this piece and the fact that you can specialize your system so that your'e existing clutter can be organized perfectly inside of every shelf and cabinet.
